  No attention from waitstaff- waited 45 minutes for food. Server gave 3 of 4 dishes to incorrect person. (We were aware of 2 and switched- but was unaware of the 3rd until we had to return a dish). We had to send back the flounder - which we thought was the halibut because it was cold and crispy and terrible
  
  Overall very poor experience- had a hard time even getting drinks (sat there for over an hour and a half - but we only able to get 2 drinks).
  The food was poor- the service was poorer.

  Food was good, not fantastic, but good. Wait staff were very nice and the atmosphere was nice. Very easy to walk to from our hotel on the beach. Good overall experience.

  An interesting visit, part of the Savor the Low Country Tasting Tour, but I was underwhelmed by food. Would go back for drinks and appetizers. Terrific visual design out and inside. Outdoor grass trim seems beachy but inside gives a colonial India feel. See photos! Very creative. Bar area, table seating, plentiful local alcoholic beverage selections, good service. Upstairs is a colorful and appealing paint and pottery studio where you could order out from restaurant below. As for our tasting selections, Sliders were okay. For me, too many flavors going on in each offering. Mulligatawny stew and salad with many flavors that competed rather than complimented. Shrimp in shrimp and grits were the kind with a very fishy flavor and smell, flavored the grits the same. Much preferred shrimp and grits at The Porch. Still, it's the sort of place you should experience on vacation because there's much to see and a lot of thought went into the design. Maybe you'll like that cuisine. Check out the huge wine cooler. Surely you'll find a favorite.
