  For a steak and seafood place it didn't excel at either. Our oysters were like canned oysters placed on reused shells. They had no flavor and were mushy. I try oysters everywhere and these hands down were the worst. The sea scallop appetizer was good. Crispy outside, firm inside. They seemed fresh. The mixed grill was a mixed bag. The duck was good, the lobster was ok and the steak was like a cheap piece of Salisbury steak. The short ribs were good and meaty and tender. We arrived a little after 8 on a Wednesday and there was a large party celebrating a birthday there. There were no other patrons as we dined. The place is scheduled to close at 10 but a couple arrived at 915 and were turned away because the kitchen had shut down. The hostess explained that during the winter months they sometimes shut things down early unless there are reservations. The couple wasn't happy to hear that. Call ahead.

  Warm and welcoming. The place has a nice ambiance and the food is top shelf. Try the specials. The chef was making a blackened fresh drum and they quickly and easily accommodated my shellfish allergy. Can't beat this experience!

  Food was outstanding: 10oz wild mushroom filet and scollops with ravioli. Wait staff very attentive and had good recommendations. Wine selection is extensive, but very few beer options.
