  We were in the mood for sushi Saturday night in Hilton Head. We found a sushi restaurant not far from the hotel we were staying at and decided to give it a try. If you are a sushi lover you know when I say that it's always hit or miss when trying a new sushi place. We moved to South Carolina about a year and a half ago from Southern California where there are a plethora of great sushi restaurants only to find that sushi isn't one of SC's finer dining experiences. There might be great sushi places here in the state we just haven't tried yet, but after the half dozen or so places we have tried, I have been really disappointed. Not so at Hinoki Japanese Restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this place, everything was fresh and well prepared, so much so that we ordered more after we had finished our initial order. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy a nice atmosphere and fresh great, tasting sushi. 5 completely satisfied stars!
